AnnouncementsBJCTA Operator Nioka Boyce is headed to the Community Transportation Association of America’s (CTAA) National Roadeo Competition after taking the top spot in the state competition.
Boyce scored first place in the urban category at the ALTrans Alabama State Roadeo, which took place in Eufaula, AL, on March 14-15.
The competition is held annually and allows drivers like Boyce to display their acumen when it comes to operating public transportation vehicles.
Her win and advancement to the national competition also reflect BJCTA’s commitment to excellence and providing riders with a safe journey through the Birmingham-Jefferson County area.
The National Roadeo Competition will take place on June 1 in San Diego.
