Bikes on The Bus
For rider's convenience, MAX Transit offers bicycle transport. Cyclists are reminded that while MAX encourages bike transit commuting, the safety and comfort of all passengers is of the utmost importance and care should be exercised when riding, parking and carrying bicycles. Courtesy and alertness on the part of the cyclist will ensure a pleasant ride for everyone.
Loading Your Bike
Learn what you need to know to bring your bike on a MAX Transit Bus
Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop.
Tell the operator you need to load your bike.
Squeeze the handle on the top rack and gently lower the rack
Load your bike on the available rack space.
Pull the tire hook out and secure the bar on top of the front tire.
Your bike is now secure. Don't forget to take your valuables with you.
Unloading Your Bike
Follow these same steps to unload your bike. Be sure to fold the rack back to its original position if the rack is empty.
