Administrative Employees

Benefits for employees who are not part of a union.


BJCTA offers affordable healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
We also provide paid short-term and long-term disability insurance.

Vacation Days

  • 1 to 4 years – 10 days
  • 5 to 9 years – 15 days
  • 10 or more years – 20 days

Personal Days
Employees receive 6 personal days per year to use at their discretion.

Holidays

BJCTA provides paid time off during certain holidays for employees to enjoy time with family and friends.

BJCTA Holiday Schedule

Pension Plan We offer a pension plan where you contribute up to 3% and BJCTA contributes 5%. You earn more benefits the longer you stay:

  • After 2 years: 20% vested
  • After 3 years: 30% vested
  • After 4 years: 40% vested
  • After 5 years: 100% fully vested

Additional Retirement Plan You can also contribute to a 457(b) retirement plan for extra savings.

Contract/Union Employees

Benefits for employees covered by union agreements. These benefits may change when contracts are renewed.

Sick Days

Employees receive 5 sick days per year.

Personal Days

All employees receive 2 personal days each year to use as needed.

BJCTA offers paid time off during select holidays, allowing employees to spend quality time with their family and friends.

BJCTA Holiday Schedule

Pension Plan We offer a strong pension plan where you contribute up to 8% and BJCTA contributes 25%. You become fully vested after 10 years of service. If you leave before 10 years, you only receive back what you contributed.
