In accordance with Governor Ivey’s Limited State of Emergency issued Friday, August 13, 2021, which
authorizes “members of any other governmental entity or quasi-governmental entity created pursuant to a
state statute or municipal ordinance, may participate in a meeting-and establish a quorum, deliberate, and
take action-by means of telephone conference, video conference, or other similar communications
equipment”, BJCTA Public Meetings will be held virtually until further notice.
Notice is now given for the following meetings of the
Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority’s Board of Directors:
Wednesday, August 18, 2021
Beginning at 10am
Meetings will occur consecutively as listed below:
• Finance & Administration Committee Meeting
o Purpose: Regular Order of Business
• Planning & Program Committee Meeting
o Purpose: Regular Order of Business
• Operations Committee Meeting
o Purpose: Regular Order of Business
