The 2024 APTA Honors Awards celebrated 13 organizations and leaders across North America for their vision and leadership in the public transportation sector. In addition to the organization awards, APTA will induct three new members into its Hall of Fame, honoring those whose contributions have significantly advanced public transportation.

“It is my honor to congratulate the winners of the 2024 APTA Awards and the Hall of Fame inductees for their dedication to advancing the future of public transportation, creating vital connections between communities and driving innovation,” said APTA Chair Michele Wong Krause, immediate past chair of the DART Board of Directors.

The recognition of BJCTA as an Outstanding Public Transportation System highlights the agency’s impressive achievement of providing over three million annual passenger trips.
