She comes to BJCTA with more than 21 years of broadcast experience at radio and television stations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama. Birmingham, AL. – The city of Hoover has appointed a new member of the Board of Directors for the Birmingham Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA). Martin Weinberg was introduced by Mayor Frank V. Brocato at the Hoover city council meeting on Monday night. “I appreciate his strong interest in serving. Martin Weinberg has a good amount of experience and knowledge dealing with transit and will definitely be an asset,” said Mayor Brocato.
