The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA) in partnership with the City of Birmingham, and the Birmingham Farmers Market has been awarded the Healthy Food Financing grant. Funded through the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), this grant will provide quality food to underserved communities in the Birmingham area.The amount awarded through ADECA is $50,000.00.
