Operations Department

The Operations Department is responsible for all public transportation services provided through Max Transit. Fixed route provides service along a specific route with scheduled arrival/departure times at predetermined bus stops. Paratransit service is available to persons within ¾ mile of fixed route who or unable to utilize or access fixed route buses. These riders have been certified under the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). On-Demand service provides corner to corner van transportation in a designated On-Demand service zone. All bus and van operators and dispatchers who work in the control center report to the Operations department.
