BJCTA MAX Transit Announces MAXimum Movement Rebranding Parade

The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority (BJCTA) is thrilled to announce a rebranding of its MAX Transit services with a MAXimum Movement: MAX Rebranding Parade! Join us on Thursday, August 1, 2024, and be one of the first to view our newly rebranded MAX buses and on-demand microtransit vehicles in action!

Event Highlights

When: Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM

Where: The parade kicks off at the BJCTA maintenance center, 3105 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd, and winds through downtown Birmingham. See parade route details below.

Why: “We are incredibly proud to unveil our new branding and expanded services to the community. The rebranding parade is a celebration of our commitment to providing top-notch transit solutions that meet the evolving needs of Birmingham residents and visitors,” said BJCTA Marketing & Communications Manager, Amanda Hare.

Parade Route

The parade departs from 3105 Rev. Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd at approximately 9:00 AM.

Turn right on 19th Street North.

Turn Right on 6th Avenue North.

Turn right on 1st Avenue South.

Left on 16th Street into the parking lot of Central Station.
