Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority Announces Launch of New Customer-Friendly Website
The Website Will Go Live on July 1, 2019.
Birmingham, Ala. (July 1, 2019) – As the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority continues to make changes designed to increase ridership and engage the public, they are announcing the next step in that effort as they launch their new website. Many new features including service alerts on the homepage and easier navigation allowing customers to plan trips are just a few of the upgrades from the previous site.
Information about each department, the board of directors and contact information for each including all necessary forms for feedback, public record requests, lost and found and additional forms for customers are available on the enhanced site as well.
Improved access to rider tools is one of the key features that makes the new website a great instrument for MAX customers.
“The new user-friendly site makes planning routes for our customers easier than ever before and we hope first-time visitors to our city will find our system easy to navigate. This is just one more step needed to create a transportation system that’s both functional and attractive to all the citizens in the Birmingham-Jefferson County service area. One that ushers us into a period of growth and economic development,” says Frank T. Martin, Interim Executive Director.
The public can access the new site beginning July 1, 2019 at www.maxtransit.org.
