The Facility Maintenance Department oversees the upkeep, repair, and operational functionality of all BJCTA-owned and operated facilities. This includes administrative offices, maintenance garages, bus platforms, bus stops, intermodal terminals, and other transit-related infrastructure across the Birmingham metropolitan area. The department ensures that all facilities remain safe, clean, accessible, and fully operational, supporting BJCTA’s mission of providing reliable, customer-focused transit services.
