Plan your ride

Start with official election information through Alabama Votes. Confirm your assigned polling place before planning your ride. The closest polling place on a map may not be the one assigned to you.

Choose your area, find your confirmed polling location and review nearby transit service. Open the full-size map to read the labels and legend. Then use the MAX Trip Planner or BJCTA MAX Connect app to confirm your route, stops and travel times.

No. These maps are planning references showing polling locations near public transit. They do not show live arrivals, all service alerts or a personalized itinerary. Confirm your trip using current schedules or Customer Service.

Fixed Route and BRT use established stops. You may need to walk between a stop and the polling location. Review both directions of your trip and ask Customer Service for help if the walking connection is unclear.

Call Customer Service at 205.521.0101 to review available options. MAX On-Demand may be an option when your trip meets its service-area rules. Complimentary fares do not expand service boundaries or guarantee service to every polling place.

Check the return route, stop location and last departure before leaving home. Allow time for walking, transfers and voting lines. Transit service hours can differ from polling hours. On-Demand riders should keep one of their two complimentary rides available for the return trip.

You do not need a smartphone to board Fixed Route or BRT. Call Customer Service for planning help. If you need On-Demand booking help without the app, call ahead to confirm how the VOTE26 benefit can be applied.
